All year long, the high schoolers have been earning points on a daily basis for having appropriate school behavior, following directions, and being kind and respectful to others.
The students are able to spend their points on whatever activities they choose from their cash-in menu during the week and at the end of each week, any unused points are "banked" for the auction. Auction items such as gift certificates, fidgets, coupons and snacks were generously donated by parents and staff. Throughout the auction, students practiced self-management, self-advocacy, budgeting skills, social skills, and good sportsmanship.
