Summit Academy Fall News

As the fall season has come to a close and we are getting ready for the holiday break, we would like to share some updates. We are loving our new school neighborhood and close proximity to Worcester attractions and parks. Our students have enjoyed walks to Elm Park, Institute Park and have visited Green Hill Park. They have visited the Worcester Public Library and the Worcester Art Museum. We have had visitors from the Worcester Local Fire Station #16 and Jacob Wycoff from WBZ Channel 4 News, did a lively presentation on weather along with highlights from his career. Our students are engaged in projects like the annual high school rocket launching and the middle school egg drop experiment. Our primary and middle school classes have each adopted a virtual calf pet through a Vermont Dairy Farm and are learning about farming. Through the support services team, the students are engaged in creative arts, martial arts and social skills groups.

We are all looking forward to 2025 and hope you enjoy your Holidays!
