Back to School!

As we begin a new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome back to all of our students, families, and staff. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with opportunities to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection within our Summit community.

This year brings several exciting additions to our team and programming. We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Darko, our new High School Science and Math Teacher, whose enthusiasm and expertise will help our students explore, discover, and build confidence in these important subject areas.

We are also pleased to welcome Abby Saner, SLPA, who joins our related services team and will support students in reaching their communication goals along with Cristiana

Racenet, SLP who will be supervising Abby.

In addition, we are excited to introduce Jasmine Sales, Adjustment Counselor, who will provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to help our students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

To support our growing program, we have added an additional middle school classroom. We are especially excited that this classroom will be led by one of our own, Angel Martinez, whose dedication to our students and school community has already made a tremendous impact. Joining Angel in the classroom is Tara Bulak, who we are delighted to welcome her to the Summit team.

As we look ahead, we are filled with optimism for the year to come. Our staff has been hard at work preparing engaging lessons, meaningful experiences, and supportive learning environments where every student can succeed. We are grateful for the trust our families place in us and look forward to partnering with you throughout the year.
