Transition class is all about...well...transitioning from childhood to adulthood! To that end, students have been researching possible careers, along with education and training.

One group was very interested in welding and forging, so the students visited Dancing Hammer Forgery in Spencer. Among a myriad of metals and unique one-of-a-kind creations by Master Craftsman, John Stevens, the students were awed and entertained while learning about such a unique trade! John's passion had taken him from Sante Fe to Old Sturbridge Village, Higgins Armory and to his own amazing shop for 25 years.
