Movement Class-Led by the OT Team, students participate in sports related skills and flexibility exercises to improve their awareness of body strength and endurance, develop sensory integration skills (balancing and hand & eye coordination) and spatial awareness (how are bodies move and interact in the physical space around us). By engaging in these activities, our students can increase their confidence and self-esteem, and decrease their anxiety and stress while working on personal goals. They also learn the importance of team work!
Spanish Class- Facilitated by our lead teacher, Michelle Peters, the new Spanish Class is a basic introduction to vocabulary, grammar and verb conjugations, as well as an introduction to the various Spanish cultures where the language originated and flourished.
We are excited that our students are learning about language as a gateway to other cultures and the world.
